Broken after newest update 2.9.4

Ive logged over 20k matches so I know what Im talking about. The game is broken. Matchmaking works fine, then the match starts, and instead of a 30 second time limit, the match ends for me in 5-10 seconds. My opponents seem to be fine because their scores are normal for a 30 second round. I lost 4 matches in a row because its impossible to win when you get 5 seconds to work while the opponent gets the full 30. Connectivity has also become a big problem. Many times, I try to do the high score competition, battle a mecha boss, or battle a zoo vandal, it says cannot connect to server. Then I reboot the game and it says I already used up my 1 try per day, or the mecha boss disappears.

EDIT: the time limit issue has been fixed in 2.9.5, changed my review to 5-star. Please also improve connectivity, I still get network issues sometimes
